As the Sun enters Virgo it heralds a time when the little things in life can become big deals. Pay attention to all details and this month will be smooth for you. If you choose to be kind and considerate the world will serve you well. Modesty is everything now.

The Moon

The Moon is feminine, passive, reflective, and moody. The Moon represents your mother, cooks, and caregivers. The Moon rules Cancer.

Mercury stations direct at 4° Leo (August 11th)

You can anticipate clearer thinking and solutions to creative problems will come easier than before. Decisions can be made now if you are honest about your motives. In general, this is a positive time.

Venus

Qualities

Venus is feminine. Venus loves, acquires, and appreciates. Venus represents young women, girlfriends, sweethearts, and accountants. Venus rules Taurus and Libra.

Venus Leo (August 25th)

Now there is a shift of energy as you look for creative solutions around your love affairs. If you are single, you will be more open to a romantic encounter. It may not get heavy immediately as this is the time to play it cool. If you are in a meaningful relationship, this. Will bring more heart to the affair. You can now engage yourself wholeheartedly with your fun-loving partner.

Mars

Mars is masculine. Mars competes, challenges and acts. Mars represents young, young men, boyfriends, bad boys, pioneers, firemen and soldiers. Mars rules Aries and Scorpio.

Mars enters Libra (August 8th)

Mars is in detriment in Libra which this slows the energy drive of the Red Planet down. Anticipate a lack of vigor in the relationship department and some lack lustre action in general.

Jupiter

Qualities

Jupiter knows, grows and wins. Jupiter represents uncles, professors, know-it-all’s, clerics and philosophers. Jupiter rules both Sagittarius and Pisces.

This Month

Jupiter in Cancer. Cancer is the sign of Jupiter’s exaltation, which means that it is pretty well-placed within this sign. The gifts and joys of Jupiter are likely to come forward now as well.

Saturn

Qualities

Saturn limits, times and masters. Saturn represent your father, older men and managers. Saturn rules the two signs of Capricorn and Aquarius.

Saturn This Month

All month Saturn hovers around 1° Aries and is retrograde until November 28th when it finally stations direct at 25°Pisces.

Uranus

Qualities

Uranus changes, breaks and fashions. Uranus represents adolescents, trendsetters, agitators, and immigrants. Uranus rules Aquarius.

Uranus This Month

During all of August Uranus hovers around 1° Gemini. All month, Uranus finally moves in to make an exact sextile with Neptune which is at 1° Aries on August 29th.

Neptune

Qualities

Neptune understands, dissolves and eludes. The people that Neptune represents are dreamers, ghosts, angels, and nomads. Neptune rules Pisces.

Neptune This Month

This month Neptune is in Aries retrograde.

On the 29th Uranus will sextile Neptune.

Pluto

Qualities

Pluto transforms, buries and rebirths. The people that Pluto represents are crisis workers, the taxman, demons, coercers and the Grim Reaper. Pluto rules the fixes water sign of Scorpio the Scorpion.

This Month

Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto moves very slowly month-on-month. It continues to be retrograde in Aquarius for the whole of July.

Chiron

Chiron in Aquarius. Chiron remains in Aries at around 25°.

Eris

Qualities

Eris brings drive, disruption and the spark of challenge. She represents fierce, determined women and those who are strong enough to be your equals in competition.

This Month

Eris is in Aries. Eris is in Aries for just about everyone alive today. Only the degree differs. In July is it about 25° Aries.
