A Little Astrology in Your Letterbox

Something new is arriving at Starzology this September.

I’m introducing The Starz Post, a monthly piece of astrology delivered through your letterbox.

I’ve spent years sharing astrology online through articles, podcasts, newsletters and now YouTube.

I love the digital world and all the ways it allows us to explore astrology together.

But I’ve also been thinking about how lovely it is to receive something real in the post.

A letter.

A postcard.

A beautifully designed card.

Something you can hold in your hands, put beside your birth chart, tuck into your astrology journal or simply enjoy with a cup of tea.

So, I’ve decided to experiment with something a little more tangible.

What Is the Starz Post?

Physical Mail

The Starzology Post is a monthly astrology-themed envelope that I’ll create and send out to anyone who would like to receive one.

Each month will have its own astrological theme.

The September Post is the first one and will set the tone for this new little project.

What You Get

Each Starz Post contains a small collection of astrology-themed goodies for you to enjoy, explore and keep.

Inside your September envelope you’ll receive:

• A personal letter from me (Alison)
• A 4 x 6 inch astrology-themed postcard
• A 2.5 x 3.5 inch Astrology Trading Card
• A selection of astrology journal prompts to help you explore the month’s theme in your own chart
• There may also be a little mystery item tucked inside, just for fun

Each month’s Post will be slightly different, so there will always be something new to discover when it arrives in your letterbox.

Why September?

Autumn

September feels like a natural time to begin something new.

The long days of summer are beginning to change.

There is a subtle shift towards autumn and the feeling of a new season is in the air.

For many of us, September has always carried a sense of new beginnings.

A new school year.

A new notebook.

Fresh pencils.

New projects.

A return to routines.

Even if we are long past our school days, I think there is something wonderful about giving ourselves permission to experience that feeling again.

You can decide that September is a time to begin exploring something you’ve been curious about.

And perhaps astrology can be part of that exploration.

Astrology You Can Hold

Back to Analogue

So much of our astrology experience happens on a screen.

We calculate our birth charts online.

We read articles.

We listen to podcasts.

We watch videos.

We look up transits on our phones.

These are all wonderful ways to learn.

Physical Cards

But I also love the idea of having small physical reminders of astrology around you.

A card on your desk.

A postcard tucked into your astrology journal.

A symbol you can colour.

A thought-provoking question beside your morning coffee.

Something that reminds you to pause and look at your life through an astrological lens.

The Starz Post is designed to create those little moments.

A Little Learning

Fun and Enjoyment

The Starz Post isn’t intended to be a formal astrology lesson.

Instead, each month’s theme will give you something to explore.

You might discover a planet you’ve never really understood.

You might learn something about a particular zodiac sign.

You might be introduced to an astrological technique.

Or you might simply be given a prompt that encourages you to look at your own birth chart with fresh eyes.

You can spend five minutes with it.

Or an hour.

You can colour the card.

Write in your journal.

Look up the symbolism.

Check your birth chart.

Discuss it with an astrology friend.

There is no homework and no test at the end.

This is astrology for curiosity and enjoyment.

Building Your Starzology Collection

Starz Cards

I’m also excited about the possibility of creating a growing collection of Starzology cards.

Over time, the cards you receive could become your own little astrology library.

You might collect planets, signs, houses, symbols and astrological concepts.

Perhaps you’ll keep them in a box.

Perhaps you’ll display your favorites.

Perhaps they’ll become part of your astrology journal.

Or perhaps you’ll simply enjoy each card for the month it arrives.

I don’t know exactly where this project will lead yet.

And that’s part of the fun.

The September Post

First Edition

The September Starz Post is the first edition.

As this is my first mailing, I’m keeping it simple and manageable while I work out what works best.

Each envelope will contain a personal letter from me plus several astrology-inspired paper pieces for you to explore and enjoy.

I’ll be preparing the envelopes myself and posting them between September 21 and the end of September.

The September Starz Post is available as a one-off purchase.

Canada: $10 CAD

USA: 12:50 CAD

Rest of the World: $13.15 CAD

The price difference is for the increased postage costs.

There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

If you enjoy the September Post, you can simply come back and order the October Post when it is announced.

Important Date

Order by September 15th to receive the September Starz Post.

Orders placed after September 15th will be for the October edition.

A Small Experiment

Baby Steps

I’m calling this a little experiment because that’s exactly what it is.

I don’t know yet how many people will want to receive an astrology envelope through the post.

I don’t know which cards you’ll enjoy most.

I don’t know which themes will become favorites.

But I do know that I enjoy creating things with my hands and I love finding new ways to share astrology.

So, I’m going to give it a try.

Perhaps you’ll join me.

Perhaps you’ll receive your first Starzology Post in September, open the envelope and discover a little piece of astrology waiting inside.

And perhaps this small experiment will grow into something wonderful.
